Sampire Information

Some time ago, back when the sampire build was first discovered, there was a player who posted some amazing informational posts with pics explaining how to solo highend mobs. Such as, DreadHorn and the Dark Father.

Before I spend the time creating a post I had a question for it's demand...

Would the new sampires like a updated version of this? If so, it will include pictures of my sampire soloing Dread Horn from start to finish, including the keys. I will list all my equipment and skills with pictures and details on how to make/aquire them. I will also list the given tactics and answer any questions.

I know this helped me personally in the past when I first started making a sampire.

The post you are talking about was from Baghdaddy. I have a copy of that post that I saved to my laptop hard drive before I deployed in 2008. I knew I wouldn't have internet access so I archived it as a webpage with supporting picture files. I'd repost it for posterity sake, but I don't know how to do that. Much has evolved since then, but it is still fun to read through the thread.

That's right... that is exactly who it was. He used an ornate axe then. However, that probably wouldnt work these days since they increased the difficulty of most bosses. But yes, his threads were an eye opener to me back then. I was dumbfounded someone could solo such difficult monsters.

Even though 99% of the posts were made pre-99 necro requires days, it is still great reading.

I hate to say it, but the most wonderful thing about the thread isn't the information, it's the positive interaction between members of stratics. At this point in UO, Stratics was still used for LEARNING AND TEACHING!!!!!!

Amazing huh?

Only at the very end of the thread do the trolls start to emerge.
