Sampire Equipment

I am currently creating a new sampire. What is your equipment you use on your sampire? I have the Ancient Samurai Helm and the Heart of the Lion. My other pieces are junk! I would like to know what others are using to get the most out of my sampire. Thanks to you all.

Parts to look at are:

Fey Leggings (Big DCI, Stat Bonus..Great item and cheap)
Jackal's Collar (Huge Dex Bonus, Stam Regen, Great item and getting very cheap now)
Rune Beetle Carapace (For Lower Mana Cost, Mana Regen and Mana Increase)
Mace and Sheild Glasses (Awesome for stat increase and Hit Lower Defense)
Gautnlets of Nobility (Nice DI and Stat Increase with resists that work well around the rest)

You will need high resist runic arms and also need to look at getting some fire resist on your jewels to make up for the -fire you get through vamp.

It can be a costly business so be warned

A useful tip for you might be joining a faction and buying some silver. You can buy faction fey leggings and rune beetle carapace very cheaply this way and they have better resists than the original.

Is the consensus race for a sampire an Elf? I am Human at the moment. Are most sampires Elves? Don't want any shortcuts with this toon. I love the idea of solo'ing most creatures in the game once I learn how to play the sampire. Thanks once again.

I use a darkwood suit, Resilient Bracer, Crimson, Conjurer's Trinket, Quiver of Infinity and a 12HCI 10 DCI, 25 DI, 15 EP Ring.

I get 55 DCI, 42 DI, 22 HCI, 25 RFD, 18 HR and the whole suit has self repair 3 so I just have to keep an eye on my weapons.

It's not the best but it's damn good at keeping me alive, especially with my quick bokuto and vamp form (the suit adds up to 113 fire resist so the loss is no concern)
