How do theses work ?

ALSO ... will I ever get to use my old login for UO Stratics ?

Just place your items you want to smelt or unrafle in it and then click on it to get the gump for the option to smelt or unrafle (or both) the items in the bag.

As for your old stratics ID - the bosses are working on it. I've already seen a screencap of one of old Stratics' other forum groups (not the UO boards) converted over to VBB (but not yet available online). So, progress is being made - but it will probably be when all the old Forum groups are converted, before the current ones are merged into them, to insure that the old user base is complete for the process. No ETA for that yet, but it's starting to come together...

Note that the Salvage Bag gives you back one extra ingot per metal item smelted with it, over and above what you normally would get. That, and the fact it does all the items at once, makes it superior to the UO Assist recycle agent.

I am not 100% sure that the "Salvage all" option of the bag is corrected from a bug it had. But follow what Frarc and Basara have told you on usage. Cloth is salvaged at a slightly higher ratio than normal recovery as well. The bag actually is worth the gold to get!

You can use UO Assist to dump stuff in to it by making it one of the Organizer Agent bags, but activating it must be done by mouse-click.

'Cause Tinker has no recycle/smelt option in their menu. If they did then there'd at least be a shot at using the SB for them too.

I was wondering why I was all of a sudden getting 3 ingots back on daggers instead of two...and to think that it only takes 3 ingots to make a dagger....

Yeah - one of the neat things is that, if you use a 120 Smith PS on a brand new character, then put Mining gloves on (you have to have over 101.1 mining skill to get to 2/3 ingot return), you can get to about 58 Smith skill on daggers WITHOUT LOSING A SINGLE INGOT TO SMELTING (though you might lose a few to failures below 48 skill).

Is there any way to do this in the KR Client. I swear I've tried everything, but just can't figure it out.
