That's how Nimuaq and I worked out the exact range Petra, the Halloween cloths were appearing in the same range as the metallic dye tubs and there are 156 for that tub. He wrote a LUA script to call the colour code of an item, but there's also an included macro in the Pinco UI to do the same and check the exact hue (also useful for telling the extremely close parrot colours apart). However I was away from home during the first appearance of the gifts, so I don't yet have access to the tubs on Europa to confirm.No. I don't think the metalic cloth tub matches the halloween cloth. It has the same colour set as the existing metalic dye tub for metals.
Ahh. I stand corrected. Thank youThat's how Nimuaq and I worked out the exact range Petra, the Halloween cloths were appearing in the same range as the metallic dye tubs and there are 156 for that tub. If anyone wants to check against the tub, I had 136 of the Halloween cloth, and they ranged from 09c5 (2506, R:0 G: 204 B: 102) to 0a54 (2644, R: 204, G: 0 B: 102)
I've also put the cloth boxes to public, if someone wants to wander by to check with their own tub; they're at 47.06N 42.07E on Europa; you'll need the EC though to see how they are correctly sorted. (There's also all the none-rare parrots, sorted from dark to light, on the rear tower roof if you want to test which colours you've got)
Unfortunately, it can be dyed by both the white and normal dye tubs, so it's now identical to cloth coloured by the new dye tubs. Which I suspect is the real reason they've added it in... the spoilsports couldn't stop us making Halloween cloth, so they gave it to everyone Still, you can always set the new tub to Default, and return all the halloween cloth to plain, then cut it up into bandages...Is the old Halloween cloth dye-able?
If not, then it might have a certain value for collectors, because not only can you say it's older than the metal dyed cloth, but you can have empirical proof of such. "Here, try to dye this..."

Thanks for checking; I was curious, though I didn't collect the cloth myself.Unfortunately, it can be dyed by both the white and normal dye tubs, so it's now identical to cloth coloured by the new dye tubs. There are a few hues that show the "two-tone" range better than others. I tried a few hues from the last selectable row and they came threw as a "two-tone".. But there are no hues available with the tub that are as vibrant ,in a two tone, as say the Tangle color.I have a question on the cloth tubs. I've been waiting for these for a very long while and am happy to experiment with the colors on my cloth items. I don't understand how the subdued items like half aprons take the colors. They always seem darker and i haven't been able to get a good looking one with two hues. Most aprons look like a near solid color. Does the two tone look work for aprons?
Yes but you STILL can't make the colors that you see on the Pirates. You look at pirates doublets and you'll see colors that are NOT available to us. Those are the ones I think you ought to be able to dye or get. I can't understand why after I kill the pirate I can't loot his doublet.I was soooo close to getting the set after the second year of begging for it; but yes, everything I've seen indicates that the dye tubs were a way to put the colours in game more legitimately, and the 156 colours are the same 156 as the Halloween Cloth.
