I'm sorry to post here, I did skim the SA forum but didn't find an answer. Where do the "venom vials" come from in SA? Are they craftable, and if so how do you fill them? I read you can charm or kill silver serpents but that doesn't answer how you really get the venom extraced.

Silver serpent venom. There are two ways to get this,

1. use 'snake charming' (snake charming flute made by a carpenter, no music skill needed to play it) take an empty vial (glassblowing) double click the vial, target the snake and 'milk it'.
2. Kill the serpents, drop rate roughly 1:5.

haven't tried it myself, but hopefully that explains it enough...

An alchemist uses a glassblowing pipe and one unit of sand to make each vial.

To fill the vial, you must use a snake charming flute and target a silver serpent and then the spot that you want it to move to. While the serpent is charmed, you click on an empty vial and then on the serpent. You will then either succeed in filling the vial or fail. You will likely also be poisoned in the process. You can try again for a second vial. If you have poisoning skill, you may succeed in collecting more than two vials per serpent and I believe you may also be less likely to be poisoned during the collection process. You will occasionally also find a vial of venom as loot on a silver serpent corpse.
