Boredom is a state of mind within one's own control. External stimuli can only go so far to alleviate the symptom before it returns.I came back for the sa expansion and have been very dissapointed. More stuff will not fix the two major problems with uo, the bugs and the lack of service.
Wow... Are you kidding me? I would like to thank inbuing for reducing my stuff by at least 20% so far. Stuff I really did not want to throw away... Now I get rewarded for using it up.Imbuing = boredom.
Um, no. How the hell is training imbuing NOT boring?Wow... Are you kidding me? I would like to thank inbuing for reducing my stuff by at least 20% so far. Stuff I really did not want to throw away... Now I get rewarded for using it up.
I don't know if you and I are playing the same game... but I for one am LOVING the new expansion... perhaps it's your playstyle.I came back for the sa expansion and have been very dissapointed. More stuff will not fix the two major problems with uo, the bugs and the lack of service.
They keep rolling out new lands and more items without fixing the existing issues.
After you finish training it, yeah. Training imbuing up though? How anyone could enjoy that is beyond me. Just a bunch of click spam. Not much of a crafter are you Ender... This expansion = a lot of crafter love.
No one ever enjoys training up a skill. After you finish training it, yeah. Training imbuing up though? How anyone could enjoy that is beyond me. Just a bunch of click spam.
I'd go a step further and say that the Imbuing menu just isn't "training" friendly. Once you've trained the skill, I think it will function just fine, because you're not going to be imbuing hundreds of items at a time. While the Imbuing menu isn;t entirely user friendly, it's a damn sight better than the way things used to be 12 years ago.
Ugh those old menus sucked. And they weren't transparent either.I'd go a step further and say that the Imbuing menu just isn't "training" friendly. Once you've trained the skill, I think it will function just fine, because you're not going to be imbuing hundreds of items at a time.
But yeah... I remember so well all those side-scrolling menus. For those of you who weren't around back then, imagine the tracking menu (it still looks that way, right?) with "major" categories, and then you double-click and get your "minor" item, and there was no "make last" button. For every item you wanted to create, it was click major, click minor.
It's a puzzle game - you take a bag of random monster loot and you go piece by piece figuring out what mods give the best chance of gains. It's been a surprisingly good motivator for me - I honestly wasn't expecting to 120 the skill anywhere near this quickly.Um, no. How the hell is training imbuing NOT boring?
Oh really? I haven't tried Imbuing yet, so I wouldn't know that. But....cool!It's a puzzle game - you take a bag of random monster loot and you go piece by piece figuring out what mods give the best chance of gains. I have to agree here, I've looked at Imbuing as a puzzle too, learning mod goes best where, which should be done first or later etc. Even trying to see mod intensities and what I can get for unraveling them. I've enjoyed the process so far even it its at a much slower pace then most. It's a puzzle game - you take a bag of random monster loot and you go piece by piece figuring out what mods give the best chance of gains. SA actually brings a lot of new things that are all but boring:I came back for the sa expansion and have been very dissapointed. More stuff will not fix the two major problems with uo, the bugs and the lack of service.

Hmmh... I only clicked 1 button and it made a dagger, imbued the dagger 12 times using 4 different mods and then unravelled it. Had to take resources still sometimes ofc. UOA > Enhanced Client. k thx. After you finish training it, yeah. Training imbuing up though? How anyone could enjoy that is beyond me. Just a bunch of click spam.
