runic kit/leather question

I just finished my Tailoring & Arms Lore ....

So if someone could help out here ...

I am new to the skill - Tailoring.

My question is very simple, and I am sure I have read somewhere it in the 100's or more words on tailoring I have read - but I just want to be sure .....

If I use a runic sewing kit ... I use the same matching leather while using the kit ???

Or

Do I use plain leather when using a runic sewing kit ?

you can use any of the leathers and they will get the apropriate bonus if you use regular leather you can enhance it with a colored leather nut there is a chance to destroy item!
