Every Holiday or Anniversary when I log into different shards I experience the same issue. The run mouse in separate thread box is not checked on these characters which someone translates over to my other established characters on Lake Superior when I log them back in. You can tell because your pointer acts like it is on a caffeine high.
I do not have this issue on my laptop with Windows 7 but my destktop still uses XP so that may factor in. I'm curious if there is a way to go into my client files and make it so all my characters on every shard start out with the run mouse box checked. My alternative is to log into each character, check the box and completely log out of the game each time for it to take effect.
I know others have had this issue too so if there is a quicker fix than closing the client each time, I'll gladly start trading Holiday gifts with y'all *grins*
