Why are there these lines on all of my carpets and also on my deeded rugs? It looks like a big tic-tac-toe grid.

Its the rough edges of newer type floors that the designers never got around to smoothing out, after publish. Happens to deeded skin rugs too. Nothing you can really do about it other then use older type floor tiles... like before custom houses.
