It has been too long since I have posted, if nothing more than to say Hi and roll out the ABM. I looked at the calendar and realized that today was a special day for me. On 1-23-00 I installed UO and have been forever changed.
I do not play any longer; I have stopped playing only to find that I needed my UO fix, and then after several months stopped playing again. No I am not returning, although the thought has crossed my mind as my son is now 14 and plays all the X Box games, I am sure he would be a 6 or 7 x GM in no time, allowing me to play every once in a while and do my collecting as I did in the old days.
No I am not returning, but when I say that UO has forever changed me, I am referring to the times when I drive home form work and see an open field and think, “could I place a Castle or a Keep there?” Or when a car is driving very slowly in form of me as was the case today, I still say “Cor Por” and envision the car and driver being NO MORE.
I still think about the many players that I have met over the years both in game and in Real Life, and how they have touched me and how I hope I have in some way touched them.
I have learned in my 47 years that you never say never, and maybe that 14 year old boy of mine will talk me into reactivating my account, but for now, just a post to say hello to my Family and Friends here at U-Hall
Peace be with all of You my U-Hall Family and Friends
