I've been playing A Tale In the Desert the last few days with an old TSO friend who I totally adore. It's kind of complicated, but I'm trudging through as best I can. My name there is suzeyuma if anyone else plays it.

Im here in binges. At first, after the initial shock of the announcement, it was very depressing trying to play this game, but I have gradually been able to pretty much get back in the swing of things, even though I know it is going to end all too soon. Ive always tried different things to try to keep the game amusing. Now that free accounts can earn money, I am going to make as many temp accounts as I can and see how many sims my computer can actually handle. Its been a question I have always asked myself. Its one of those questions, right up there with...does a bear poop in the woods? and here are a few more that mean absolutely nothing...

2. How many birthdays does the average man have?
3. Some months have 31 days; how many have 28?
4. A woman gives a beggar 50 cents; the woman is the beggar's sister,
but the beggar is not the woman's brother. How come?
5. Why can't a man living in the USA be buried in Canada?
6. How many outs are there in an inning?
7. Is it legal for a man in California to marry his widow's sister?
Why?
8. Two men play five games of checkers. Each man wins the same number
of games. There are no ties. Explain this.
9. Divide 30 by 1/2 and add 10. What is the answer?

Been playing A Tale in the Dessert as Medano. It is complicated but it is also fun trying to figure it out using broken English instructions from the French. There is a list of "to do's" in the lower left corner...if you can get it to pop up. Accomplish them and then I think you get to move on to bigger and better things.

I log into TSO everyday but i can never find any of my friends on any more. So i play for about 5 mins. and log. Not to long ago i returned to DDO (dungens and dragons online) Its good to see my guild and toons are still there! I had forgoten how much i enjoyed that game and the people who play. If you have been thinking about going to WOW please give DDO a chance. Yes they have a free trial. If you do try it please look up my guild STFU ( southern tenants farmers union) *giggles* Anyone of my guildies would be more then happy to help you with the game! Otherwise i am Isabellaa, Jezzabella, Bellaa, Joan of arc, or Isazap in game.

P.S lol it just dawned on me why i named all my toons...Some time ago i had a good friend in TSO named Isabella and i missed her when i joined DDO. She always made me laugh and i thought the name fit in DDO. : )

Not sure about the 24-7 part but in game for at least 8 hours or so. Moved one of my sims into a skill house, and host there most of the night. I refuse to go away quietly now, just would prove EA right about the game. Figure here at the beginning, I will see it through to the end.

I login to TSO almost every day and usually stay for a couple hours. I try to get out and see people but if no one is on you can find me hanging out with my pets at the park. I hope to see alot more of you before the end, but I'll be upset if we dont have big crowds the last few days. So BE there!

Lately I've been in Kaneva and SL mostly, and I plan to check out Twinity more now that I'm in. I also plan to let Trishy kill me a bunch of times in FFXI. I still want to try Entropia too.

The temp stratics is my second home, and ive been here almost everyday since it came back to life..

I just had my tonsils out on the 27th, and been home and healing in and out of sleep, in between eating many many many many many (LOL did i mention MANY ) popsicles...

Has anyone ever wondered how many diff flavors there are ....?
LOL, ive tried the following

Mango, Strawberry, Strawberry/Banana, Banana, Lime, Lima, Pineapple, Pineapple/Passion Fruit, Passion Fruit, Pina Colada, Grape, Orange, BlueBerry, Lemon, Rasberry, Fudge and Banana Cream.... (im sure there are more, but these are the only ones i can find atm.)

I eat all of them like candy atm... Can eat anything solid.. And at this pt they are all Yummy for my Tummy lol... Every 3.5hrs Im eating 2 popsicles at a time.... Sometimes more .... depending on how much my throat is hurting...

Ive also started playing COH/COV before surgery.. And I absolutly love the game. I was up the day before my surgery, until 5am playing, i went from lvl 8 to 16, it was absolutly fun. I like the game better playing w/ a team. Its amazing how many can play and work together to reach a common goal. There are many missions to go on to gain lvls. And the powers you can accumulate after finishing a mission are endless. I cant wait till i get my laptop back from the shop so i can really enjoy the game.. My hero is under Claudia Joy MacCloud. I play Kaneva, and gonna look into SL as soon as I get my laptop back.. LOL if there is a game out there im sure i'll find out soon enough and most likely I can be found under Claudia Joy MacCloud...

Niki's right - you should be able to simply log in with your old account, though it's become a really painful process now that key parts of that process are gone. You might be better off re-downloading and installing the game while the download link is still available, or you could try to reason with Customer Service.

EA-Land was actually beginning to show serious promise, and was beginning to have nearly as many players online as it did at the peak of 2003. Unfortunately, in a massive fit of cranial-analitis, the Powers that Be at EA decided that, even though the game was rebounding, it had not met EA's goals by the drop-dead date, and EA issued the 90-day notice on April 30th. The game is now in an as-is state until they pull the plug on August 1st.
