How did it go>?
That pic was after I stole all 8 sigils. I made the mistake of popping into Yew revealed, and there were a couple of Min factioneers who saw me purple. Then about 10 minutes later at our HQ, I saw 3 Min show up and steal the sigs back. ROFL. I tried to kill the thief, but the other two were fully scrolled mages.
Can you say dirt nap? It was great. To be honest, the more I play in factions the more I will learn what templates work best. I am finding there are some things that can't be done when carrying sigils (ninjar stuff) but at the same time, I may actually start using egg bombs for those times when I am getting chased by larger groups. It seems those that did get me had a similar ping as I did, so since I was running around in Magencia, they were able to stay close enough to me that I couldn't run and hide, then stealth out of the area...no buildings at this time to be able to turn corners to break their sight line.
After I got over my faction skill loss, I was able to snag a couple of the sigs back from their HQ. I logged after that. I popped on this morning to see if they were still there...sure enough. So at that point, I took them back to their towns, placed them, collected 20 kill points and got 200 silver. I highly doubt they will stay that way since the other factions are packed with thieves. I got recruited into CoM, but there weren't many fellow factioneers to help guard the sigs once I took them the first time.
My current template is:
120 Steal
115 Magery
105 Ninja
100 Hide
100 Snoop
80 Stealth
80 Poison
I have 20 points of left over skill points, but since I am human, I have JoAT so I'm not sure those will help. I may drop the poison and add GM detect. I can always buy pre poisoned ninjar stars.
So far...lots of fun. If there are any other Siege thieves interested in joining, I'll have to contact the GM of the guild I am joining to see if they are bringing in anyone else...if not, you can still run in any faction without a guild and have fun...that's what I did last night. I'll keep you guys up to date...la

This is espcially good. There were many good words for the top faction on a post I asked about their ranking.
This one thought, new members should not necessarily go to top guild. Maybe not last either- not enough support- but certainly 2nd or 3rd. To make more balanced competition

With what exactly did you try to kill him? Mindblast and poison spell ehh?

should take 10 or 15 of those points and put it into ninjitsu, death strike is always useful.
