ok is there a trick to get stuff to stack on top of them? I have tried setting it down and then cant get anything to drop on top of it. Have also tried putting object down lock it then raise it with deco kit and then the stand wont drop below it. Need help from good decorater please!:cursing:

what i did was lock down the item you want to be on the stand, then lock the stand down on top of that item. now raise the item with deco kit til its where ya want it. if ya cant see the item under the stand, hold ctrl+shift for the item handle tag. hope that helps

Had to to the exact same thing, works like a charm tho.

Is funny as all to see a base sitting on top of a rose when it should be the other way around. One tuff rose stem I tell ya

My solution to placing the totem on your stand......

place square goza, raise it, set stone (it'll sit on goza)....lower stone.
place a crate on goza (still elevated) , insert toem, destroy crate, and lock toem in place.

destroy goza and proceed to lower totem to desired level.

pain, huh?
lol

Or put the stone and the totem in a crate, break crate, raise totem.

Place and lock down item. Raise it several times. Place and lock down base. Lower base all the way. Adjust level of item.

My trick (for locking down a single item):

Place three tables in a tile, lock down the top table.
Lower it twice.
Place item on table.
Lock item down.
Unlock table.
Remove all three tables.
Place pedestal.
Lock down pedestal.
Lower top object as desired.

My trick (for locking down multiple items):

Place items you want locked down into crate.
Place three tables in a tile, lock down top table.
Lower it twice.
Place crate on table.
Lock crate down.
Unlock table.
Remove all three tables.
Place pedestal.
Lock down pedestal.
Unlock top crate.
Axe crate.
Lock down internal objects and lower/raise as needed.

Also, for tall objects, the goza method mentioned above works awesome!

I use the trick to make items disappear. Put down the pedestal and lock it down. Now drag the pedestal and quickly hit your disarm macro (you need an item in hand). If you do it right the pedestal will not snap back and be on your cursor. Drop it in your backpack and it goes poof. Now you can place something on the pedestal tile and lock it down.

You will have to leave and come back to see the pedestal again. You also have to lower the item down so it does not float in the air.

Uh, a bit simpler way than Ra'Dian's. Place a small table, Put item on Table, Lock Item, Remove table, Place rock stand

(granted i haven't specifically tested this method for rock stands)
