Returning to uo

I am an 11th year newbie. Besides getting into uo and redecorating my house i haven't really played in 3 years. Been back for 3 mths now and im learning alot but there is still so much i still dont know.

Anyone out there that plays on sonoma that would be willing to put up with all my questions? I really want to join a large guild. Since most of my uo friends have long since quit i do everything solo. But todays uo, I feel, you need to have others to play with to really enjoy it. I have never done a peerless or a champ spawn. Id really love to though. I have nothing really to contribute to a guild. Im not a good player anymore. I once was but not now. If i went hunting with you. Chances are you'll die if you depend to much on me haha. Ill try though.

I am very forum shy. I read alot but hardly ever post or reply.

Thanks, but i think i will stay with sonoma. Been there 11 years so far.
Plus i have 3 account and all the accounts are great. Most chrs are
7x gm. but they are all old school.

Here is maybe a question you could answer though. About 2 mths ago i went to the spell casters forum and the post was about different templates. After reading it i decided to change my mage from 7x gm magic, ev in, med, resist, wrestling, tactic, cant remember the other skill.
So i dropped tactics, and the other skill and picked up necro and ss. Now that ive done that i have NO idea how to play that chr lol. The post said the template is good for soloing harder monsters. I dont know. Ive tried peerless cant do it. I just dont think i know what spells are good to cast , in what sequence or in what order ect ect. Plus i know that there are certain armor and jewlery that would be better used with this chr. Do you know? or did i just mess my chr up haha.?

I would post this to the sonoma forum but the last time i did i didnt get a response. I think that forum is dead most of the time. I know that there are not many people that play sonoma anymore. Im hoping that they lurk here.
