I'm coming back as well. Except, I deleted everything including the characters. So I lost all my vet rewards as well.

Usually you will find people very helpful, im not on Legends so cant speak for the enitre shard, but the few people i have spoke to on my west brit bank tours have been great, offering me help and advice, thinking im a new char to the shard.

I've returned from LBR and am trying to being my skills up to today's standards for a Chiv Warrior. I need to raise my swords to 120 and other stuff so if you want to get together to do some lower level hunting, I'm game.
It's hard to ask those that have been around awhile and regularly kill champions to come hunt Ogre Lords or lesser mobs with you.

You'd be surprised Bishop at how many would come with you to hunt orge lords in the guild, all you need to do is ask. I was out hunting ice ogre's just yesterday and I love to go Hiyru hunting. 
Althogh doing a champ spawn is great for getting your skills up, I do a lot of training at champ spawns, all levels of monsters. I hate golems, sooooo boring, I'd rather train on the real stuff.

I would advise joining a guild that has a wide alliance, that way you can always find someone to hunt with upon login by broadcasting a message. Many of the vet players also have "newb" characters that seldom get a chance to train, and always more fun to train skills when actually playing and interacting with others
