Returning to UO / Transferring from Atlantic

Hey there, I just came back to UO about a month ago (bit more now) and my old account was set up on Atlantic where I had/have all of my money (about 150m) and I was wondering if anyone here on Napa would be interested in helping me to transfer it over here.

I could buy an item on Atlantic and then have someone shield it over to Napa where you could buy it, or if you have the time/patience we could just do a straight gold trade... whatever works.

I brought over a bit the other day with the help of Arm and a check trade, but after wandering around on my old stomping ground (original server '97!) I've found that I really think that I could handle it over here. There aren't any crazy people duping items all over the place (that I've noticed) and the cities seem fairly chill. I'm sort of torn on if I even want to transfer the gold to be honest, but I think it will help to make my characters some good training gear and it can help me to harvest the materials I need for my craftsman.


Anyone interested in helping?

You can do it for $20 with a token from the store. I just did it myself a few days ago. Just a fyi.

I may end up just doing that, but if someone with a Shield Transfer available who would be willing to use it wants to (or someone on Atlantic who also has gold on Napa) then I would rather do that. Even if I can just transfer over 80-100m, it would be enough to get all of my characters off the ground. I already have my mage running strong after I got a LRC suit the other day for 12k, but getting a full suit for the characters usually costs a few ugly pennies.

If all else fails, I can always just buy a transfer token for 60m on Atlantic and do it that way... but it may benefit someone here more if I pay them 20m for the use of their free Shield Transfer Tokens. Just sayin'.

Quick question: Can I mount a beetle full of stuff with a Character Transfer Token? It says it takes pets with the paid ones, but will it take the pet's inventory?

I think it includes pack animals. Double check that though.

I'm all transferred and I'm building up my characters. Thanks for the offers of help. I wanted to bring my craftsman over (100s in a bunch of obnoxious to train skills) so I just bought a transfer token.
