Returning to ultima

Hi All,

I'm sure this has been asked before but i can't find it in the stickys or by searching.

I've not been on ultima for 4 years and i've just signed up again. I wanted to know how long my old house will remain before it decays and if i get anything back if it does decay.

Easy bit first: No, you don't get anything back if a house decays.
Why it decays:
If your account is in active for 90 days the house will begin to decay and will fall.
If you build/buy a new house your existing house will be condemned and will fall - you have approximately 5 days to empty it, to recoup the building costs, demolish it when empty.
Finally: If I have totally misunderstood your post and the house you had 4 years ago is still standing, you are the very lucky 'victim' of a bug. Enjoy it.
