Returning Player - Some Questions

Hi all... I am returning after a very long absence.

Essentially I have not played since AOS and would love to know what to expect? What new content, changes, etc? Is there an epic thread or guide somewhere that will fill the AOS->now gap feature wise?

I'm also wondering how crafted items are doing these days - is it worth crafting? Is the economy still by and large player driven?

Housing - how difficult to find these days? (Great Lakes is the server I'm going to be on).

Any other pearls of wisdom for a returning player would be great!

Welcome back. I don't know Great Lakes but there is tons of great housing on Lake Superior.

Welcome back! There's a lot to (re)learn and with your past experience it should be easy and fun.

The population isn't what it once was but it is still active and there are vendors everywhere so someone must be making some gold.

Legendary tailors make some of the best armor in the game, and legendary smiths make some of the best weapons. People are always looking for one more piece to make their armor a bit better. The mods on armor and weapons improve hit chance, damage, have life, mana, and stamina leeches and more. The right weapon can make or break a template and people are also loooking for just the right weapon.
