Returning Player Questions

Ok I have been away from the game since about the time Samurai Empire came out. I am finding out that things have drastically changed since those days. Is there one place to go and find out about such changes?

I keep stumbling into things such as....Greater Dragons and it doesnt always turn out pretty. Some specific questions I have:

1) Do people still do Doom Gauntlet? Is it worth the trouble?

2) I dont see people killing the Sphynx, Blood Elementals, Balrons....what is
the farming flavor of the day?

3) EM events....well I see talk of the events on the boards but honestly I
have no clue when or where they actually take place at in game.

P.S. - Did anyone see a full dexer on 6 soulstones about 5 years ago? I would like him back :( ....and all my stuff from that house....lol

A lot of people don't. Some events have very little heads up, as with the Luna invasions and Cloaks of Silence (both times they were given out there was less than a 24 hour notice). There is an EM website (I don't know the address) but most everything is posted on Stratics. So stay tuned!

Here is em site http://atlantic.uoem.net/ . Just lately they are doin a better job of updating the site.

Doom gauntlet still drops some of best artifacts in game. always worth it if that what you like doin. I ve been farming ML creatures for fame, gold, and artifacts. Paragons might be good too for the marties. they be useful soon. If your into harvesting now is great time to stock on gems for the next expansion.

Takes a long time to get rich farming monsters, but if that's what you're into, my great love is rune beetles. Easily killed by even melees, healer nearby if you need it, and have a lotta loot.

oh! Bags of sending are great and not so hard to do for a mid range character. A well stocked BoS vendor could make some gold.

Yes I did the bag of sending quest once already. Have not put up a vendor to sell yet though. I am definitely not mid level on my characters...however I do feel seriously noobish with all the changes of the past 5 years.
