Returning player question for long time players

I stopped playing UO around AoS. I was wondering what all has changed and if its gotten worse/better. Ive heard from people who used to play but id rather ask current players. I used to be huge into PVP on Felucca and look to get back into a game that isnt a WoW clone. Any feedback would help. Thank you.
