Returning Player - Question about EA Store

Hey guys I quit the game back in September 2008 or 2009. About the time Marquee Dragon left and during SA Beta.

I heard about the expansion in October and it didn't really peak my interest. I stopped playing mmo's and noticed UO getting mentioned more and more on my gaming forums. I fire up the old ICQ and sure enough a dozen messages pop up most of these people are still playing.

These are people that I have gamed with for 5+ years in the 25-30 age group and refused to quit UO because of some higher power driving them into insanity. Well I spoke with these people for 8 days and now I feel like Calvin Crowner has begun pulling at my puppet strings that have been abandoned.

The more I think about it the more I want to play UO again, but I have been hardened by the gaming gods and turned into a fierce warrior.

I use to know the answer to this question I am about to ask, but time have changed and I find myself at a lose.

Question: Does purchasing a "Booster" unlock all the expansions up until SA?

The old expansions use to include previous content making it cheaper for people to return. I know these content "Boosters" are not the same. I love UO, but I don't have the cash to buy SA and a mini content booster. (content I wanted put into the game for over 6 years)

Frankly, if you can't afford both, just get SA.

High Seas does not include SA; it's just an add-on with some perks, not a true expansion.

SA does include everything before (with the possible exception of the 9th anniversary housing times).

All accounts without SA are upgraded to Mondain's legacy, free of charge, now.

There's a lot of content in SA that you can do, while frankly the amount to content in High Seas is rather small, compared to a "normal" expansion, and targeted toward a smaller audience. The most valuable thing to some people is the extra storage space that comes with it (equivalent to the $20 extra storage from uogamecodes.com).

Get SA, then if you're still here after a few months and start running out of storage space in your house, buy High Seas.

I second this advice. I will also add that the 9th anniversary housing items are included when you purchase SA.

Welcome Back!

Sounds good, I'll probable ante up close to December. If I remember right they some times have a return to Britana sale around the Holidays.

Down loaded the SA client and I am kind of impressed just with the patcher. I might have to sub for like a month and see if its more stable then beta.
