Have you looked at the Syndicate's website? The guild is very active in-game and out of game. Some of us RP, many don't. We like to do champ spawns in Fel which can lead to pvp or you can hang back and be a healer if you don't wish to pvp. We have hunts scheduled almost every night and when there isn't one scheduled someone is usually trying to get a group together to go on a hunt that isn't planned. I don't have the play-time to be able to attend all the hunts but the ones I can attend are a blast, especially the weekly Doom runs, T-map nights and the Fel champs.
We all know each other because we hang out and chat in IRC and Ventrilo. New players are always welcomed with enthusiasm - we aren't gaining a guild mate, we are gaining a friend.
We have a large amount of players, but they are split up amongst WoW and UO. I haven't been in the guild for long but I already know many people's real names, daily family occurrences and have the chance to meet them IRL at the yearly conference.
If you're looking for friendship while hunting pixels, if you're looking for a guild that behaves more like a family than a group of strangers, I can guarantee that LLTS would be a perfect fit.
