Retruning Vet

Hello,
Im giving up WoW again, hopefully for good and am coming back to my casual love mmo UO. I have been trying for hours to retrieve my old account info and its not looking good. If I have to start a new account what is the best way to go about that, I dont have my old games but I read you can get a new SA account from ea store. If this is what I end up doing what shard do people suggest, I used to play Atlantic but I hear its high population can make it hard on a new player. Any suggestions or tips are welcomed.

Screw it...just made a new account, no vet stats or items but oh well. Atleast I can still have fun.

Not sure how to reacquire your old account, unless you remember your username and have the same email address. Otherwise, a new account may be your only recourse.

Atlantic is still the most populated shard, but I'm not sure that this is a hinderance. It means that there are a lot of great guilds available to help you get reacquainted. A lot has chanced since the release of SA (which is totally worth buying, imo).

I will eventually buy SA but for now im sticking with the free ML download until I can get back into things. Starting fresh is going to be sort of fun, usually when I come back I have everything I need waiting for me, this will be a change. I just need to figure out a good starter skill set up.

What's your play style? Melee? Magic? Archer? Craftsman? Treasure hunter? Thief? Tamer? We can offer some up-to-date template advice for just about anything.

I have played them all. But for starting I need to pick the most cost effective, im thinking archer/chiv/bard I guess.

That's a great one. Sampire is the most self-sufficient atm, in most folks' opinion, but it can be a little expensive to suit. The ABC archer is a popular template, as well, but if you'll mostly be playing an archer by yourself, it's hard to beat a disco/provo/archer.
