"reserved for vendor.." Sign

Hey guys and girls,

I placed a vendor then dismissed the vendor and now there is a red sign in place (reserved for vendor...). I have a feeling I just have to wait for it to disapear, but is there a command or a way to remove the sign so that I can start to place a new vendor in the exact same spot? Or a way to bring back the old vendor.

Hope someone can help.

Not sure why this is .... I've seen this sign, when outside a house and customizing your vendor .... the red sign will stay until you use it to return the vendor ... if you dismissed it then I don't know why it is there ...

Dismissing your vendor:
If at any time you wish to dismiss your vendor, you can do so by double clicking your vendor and then choosing dismiss vendor from the menu. Your vendor will leave only if there is nothing in the vendor and you have collected all the gold from him. Once empty of both gold and goods, he can be dismissed. He will leave a backpack behind of the items he was wearing (although it would be prudent to remove anything of value beforehand).

Thanks for trying to help. I also read the stratics info and could not find any articles related to the "reserved red vendor sign" after a vendor is dismissed although I found a post related to a guy. He was trying to get his stuff back not get rid of the sign and he said the sign disapeared after a while, but its been around 6 hours and its still there. I'll keep you posted if I find the answer, nothing worse than a thread with no answer.

Might be worth paging a GM about ... If the vendor is gonzo fer sure ... and sign remains ... something not right there ...

So ... if you have a few hours to sit, and can handle being 7th in the queue for the duration, with no real optimistic outlook of when you will be answered ... might be worth paging ;-)

I am quite curious as to what you do find out as well.

From my experience, the sign will disappear with server maintenance.

Yes the sign has now disapeared. Must be deleted on updates then.
