Request from an old player thinking of returning

If you would be able to fix RoT on Siege I would very much consider returning. I used to play normal prod shards for many years (FL) until insurance and the trammel side really turned me sour on the game. I then went to Seige and really enjoyed playing there. The community was awesome, the sense of danger I originally felt when I started playing UO (My first MMO), and enjoyment of the game really increased. I ended up leaving the game after a long while on Seige due to sheer burnout of the game, but am now thinking of returning. While, yes, I will be on Seige, the thought of taking several months in order to compete again is rather daunting (I sold my accounts long ago... I know, stupid mistake as I wish I had them back).

In short, I want to come back but I don't want to take forever to have a competetive character. Thank you very much for your time.
