Request for information on delayed anniversary and vet rewards

Last Monday (ie: not the one earlier this week but the one before), Calvin Crowner made an announcement that they were planning a big announcement for UO's release date (actually, it was something more cryptic with ellipses, but I digress), that there were plans for new Vet Rewards, and sadly, just like last year, this year's UO Anniversary passed without mention on the Herald, without mention in the Five on Friday, and without any sort of fanfare at all.

So... what's the deal? When are these announcements coming, and why, now that Mythic is running UO, is UO's anniversary no longer an important event worthy of celebration?

Sakkarah, I don't mean to grill yah and I thought about sending a pm, but, well.

A lot was said and made do of the 11th anniversary collection not being the same as 11th ani gifts last year. Now, obviously you can say truthfully that if there are no 11th ani gifts at all, that the collection items, which there, in fact, were, are different and not the same. But I am curious. Were there items that never made it for whatever reason; did some make it into the 12th ani gifts.

Nosy busybodies and inquiring minds, would like to know. I'll let you pick which best applies. Thank you in advance, and, no thank you, on the neon tub.

I was not involved in the 11th anniversary items so I cannot comment about those.

We hate not giving you dates as much as you hate not getting them. But just as an example, we wanted to give you the 12th anniversary gifts and both the 11th and 12th year rewards this week. QA caught some issues with the rewards that we've diligently been working on resolving. Before you blink, you can't make the deadline to be able to publish that week. If we had announced a date before we got QA's thumbs up, we would be backpedaling right now and you guys would not only be aggravated you didn't get them but also feeling let down because we didn't keep our word.

So we do not want to give a date then have to recant. All I can confirm is that we are working on it and you will be getting them soon.
