Serpentwyne? It's used as an extremely effective healing potion, Perfect for the blackrock poisoned miners currently ill in the Britain Inn!
Ever since Father Grant began mentioning it the Royal Guard have been on the case questioning him whenever they could.
On Thursday the 26th Father Grant began to talk about the recipe of Serpentwyne and that Father Gennaroshi at Yew may know more. At Yew the only talking monk was Ruskin who sadly passed on the news of Father Gennaroshi's death, He suggested the oldest monk, Father Luther may know more.
'Better by age, Like a fine wine' was certainly not the case with Father Luther, He was standing next to the vineyards near Empath Abbey and didn't seem to have a clue about Father Gennaroshi! He suggested reading a book called 'The Mists of Yew' to learn more about Father Gennaroshi, The book mentioned him becoming a hermit on an island.
After some brief searching Father Gennaroshi, Now a hermit, Was located on Bald Island next to a hut in the middle of the jungle, He had little to say on Thursday evening.
On Friday evening Roshi the Hermet had remembered more! He said only five bottles of Serpentwyne remain and they had been separated. The first bottle was owned by a man called Roy Orlando, A Paladin.
Checking with Ruskin he yet again had some bad news, Roy Orlando had died trying to bring order to the City of Chaos. This lead some lucky players to head to the Chaos gate in Ilshenar to find a spawn of guardians, The first bottle of Serpentwyne was found on a corpse by Hex!
Saturday evening arrived and Roshi the Hermet had remembered some more about bottle two, It was owned by a fisherman named Abel. Ruskin in Yew said Abel was a travelling fisherman and went from town to town.
After some searching a shipwreck with guardians was found inbetween Magincia and Moonglow. The second bottle of Serpentwyne was found by Heimlich!
A huge crowd had gathered around Roshi on Sunday evening and he soon began remembering more about the five hidden bottles of Serpentwyne. The third bottle was handed to a mage called Rince, After searching the magical cities his gravestone was soon found in Moonglow.
On the gravestone said "He worked and was buried in Moonglow The city of Mages. He lived in the other city of mages. May he rest in peace."
The other city of Mages being of course Wind, City of Magicka. Inside the bank the third bottle was found on a pedestal, stuck down by an enchantment.
In a near by chest a spellbook written by Rince was found, Inside an encrypted spell. The first to decode the spell and get bottle three was The Black Cobra! (Read his report on bottle three here).
