Vesper's newest Redguard recruit Jeddra unfortunately joined our family under saddening circumstances. Her ship was blown out of the water by a huge black ship, shipwrecking her on Vesper's beach and losing her whole family.
Last night the Vesper Redguard and the Trading Company set sail to find this black ship and bring those responsible to justice! After a quick stop at the sea market for supplies the crew headed to a report of another shipwreck on the island of Ivars Rounding north of Skara Brae.
They eventually found the shipwreck and a single fatally wounded survivor. Before the man passed on to a better place, he told the Vesparians of a huge black ship that had attacked him and his crew. The beings of this black ship were neither living nor dead and they took all the bodies and survivors of the man's crew. Just before he died he claimed the beings of the black ship spoke of taking souls and bringing them to the Soulbinder.
Sioned of the Vesper Trading Company then suggested that Corgul the Soulbinder could be behind this. Commander Escaflowne then stayed behind to deal wtih the Skaran Authorities on what had happen before heading to the Lycaeum to research more into Corgul. The rest of the Vesparians set sail once more to see if they could track down the black ship.
Whilst hunting for the black ship the Vesparians encountered and engaged numerous pirate ships. On doing battle with a bunch of orcish pirates, Redguard Westaman managed to question one of the orcs who said that the Black Ship had also been attacking pirates in the area. Westaman also found a crude drawing of the black ship in one of the cargo holds.
The Black Ship was no where to be found though so the Vesparians sailed back to Vesper with a cache of liqour in hand from one of the pirates ships where they got well and truly ****faced.
