The turnout for the Harvest Festival was greater success than anyone could have hoped. I would like to thank everyone that showed up. A special thanks to all that helped this come together and they are Talia, Luka and Katt for the elaborate decorating of the Lycaeum, Ru and Nevela for the crafting of the armor and weapons, and Sara Dale for making all of the fine food.
Musical Chairs were a Huge Success. I was truly amazed at the amount of people that participated. It was a learning experience for me and if done again I will have some of the wrinkles ironed out to ensure a better method of communication and fairness – no hard feelings. I would like to thank you all for your patients and the ethical behavior that was shown; it was a reminder of what is so unique about Siege. Now, for the results…
Results – Musical Chairs
1st Frost
2nd Hoffs
3rd Chlorz Fang
4th Suripium ErgoSum
The Joust Ended the evening and well… was off to a rocky start leading to a disqualification of a player…this was not a decision I took lightly but was partly my fault for allowing to continue as long as it did. *lesson learned* I ask for this player’s name be withheld from being mentioned; nothing productive can come from it. However, it went very well after this hiccup. My helper for this event was Suripium ErgoSum, thank you for your assistance.
Results – Joust
1st Edward Teach
2nd Morphling
3rd Kattostrophe
4th Disqualified
If I choose to hold another Event I will roll details out in stages – please feel free to comment and add input. This will create a more enjoyable event for all. I enjoy pvp events and I only wish to bring a true test of “skills” and “strategy” . All events will be aimed to take out the normal advantages people have in normal pvp; Bank account and Speed of connection/computer. Also note when armor and weapons are provided they are designed to make the battle more enjoyable to watch. I sincerely hope you all had fun, I know I did, and I will work to iron out the kinks making for smoother and fair events.
