Replicas if all chars changed?

Heya,

Is it possible to get a replica from Champion if all chars that have been killing spawn are changed?

Just got me thinking cause we just did some spawns with my friend. We both used a necro to make a spawn, and at the end he got an archer to kill champ and I got my char which has knight justice.

So neither of chars around killing the champ had killed any spawn.

Is it possible to get replica?

Dont know the answer for your question though.

According to what I read, yes.
Here is the patch notes:

Champ Spawns

* Non-Felucca facets Champ Spawns will now give special rewards for working the spawns
* Killing the Champ Spawn boss on any facet has a 30% chance of dropping a special reward
* Working the Ilshenar spawns gives Transcendence scrolls but not 105 powerscrolls
* A black gate will no longer appear after killing the Champ Spawn boss unless you are in Felucca
* Rewards have a durability of 150/150 and cannot be enhanced or unraveled
* Each Champ Boss has a chance to drop a Unique, Decorative, or Shared reward drop - such as Animated Water Tiles with Rock
* Shared rewards do not mean every boss has them, but only that more than 1 boss may drop it (usually 3 bosses).
* Drop rate of rewards set to an overall 30% chance, as follows:
o 5% Unique reward
o 15% Decorative reward
o 10% Shared reward
* Two types of rewards can be obtained while leveling the spawn: Scrolls of Transcendence (SoT) and 105 Powerscrolls (PS).

Actually, NO.

Foolio, your information doesn't say one way or the other, and a later mini-patch altered the circumstances on who was eligible for the drop.

If you work the spawn and change chars, you still have a chance to get the replica. If I am not mistaken the later patch changed it only in that if the characters that worked the spawn were still logged on and still in the same sub server, they would still roll for the replica. Considering that we are talking about the same account logging off and getting on a different char, then yes they have the chance for a replica.

Does the chance of a Rares/Deco/Replica drop at the Valor/Spirituality/Humility/Tokono Champ Spawn increase based on how much of the spawn you kill & if so,does it only apply to one spawn session or does your chance reset each time you log out or start a different champ spawn? Is killing the early spawns cumulative until I get an artie?
The person who worked most of the spawn (earned the most points based on number and difficulty of the creatures killed) has the highest chance of receiving a replica. If that person doesn’t win it, then all the people who earned enough points to qualify for the replica have an equal chance at it, including the person who worked it the most. The points reset each time you start a different champ spawn. Logging out doesn’t reset your points. Only defeating the boss does. Points are altar specific so earning points at Altar A doesn’t count towards earning a replica at Altar B.

Fighting just the boss will typically NOT earn you enough points to qualify for the replica, according to posts by the devs... This was done to stop the Ilshenar and other Trammel-ruleset equivalents of "raids" from occurring, where 4 or 5 people would work up Serado or Oaks, then 20 people show up just for the boss fight to try to get the rare.

Players A & B work up a spawn until the champion spawns. Both players then proceed to switch characters to C & D. Even though the points accumulated with A & B don't reset because they are logged out the system still rules them out from getting a replica as they aren't present at the champ.

Thus, there is a 30% chance a replica will drop and C & D have equal chances of winning it as there is no top spawn killer who is eligible to receive a replica.

If A stays and B switches his character he will still be able to receive a replica as long as he gets loot rights on the champion. His chances of receiving a replica will be lower than A's since A is the top spawn killer at that time.

Err, it does if you are the only player/players on that sub-server when you do it...

I am not dis-agreeing with you fully, I just think you are missing that the originally two people are no longer in the game, thus they no longer qualify for the replica at all. Since no one else qualifies for the replica that means the 2 who kill the champ are the only ones who qualify as they are the only ones who have points at all. Hopefully that better explains where I am coming from on this... As I said, not that you are wrong, just think you are not following the original idea of the poster is all. :)
