Renowned mobs in Shame?

So I was farming in shame today, for the first time in a couple weeks now... was this fixed with the recent publish?

Killing Mud Elementals on level 2, I farmed for about 30 minutes or so, and A Molten Earth Elemental (Renowned) spawned... is this new? I thought the only renowned-type mobs in shame were the "Guardians" summoned from the shame-crystal alters...

Anyway, this was the first time I seen one, didn't get a screenshot of it, but I'll see if I can get another to spawn... I was also wondering if say Unbound Energy Vortex' or any mobs on level 4 could spawn as a 'renowned' as well?

PS: The Renowned didn't drop any special loot, seemed to be the same as a normal molten earth ele.

ive never heard of renowned spawns in shame.... the level champs yes but never renowned.

Yeah, same, never seen one before until today, But I do remember the publish notes said something about "Renowneds" spawning in shame when it was first revamped, but I always thought it was referring to the guardians you get the whetstone reagents from.

I saw one long ago as well.
It was weird, and it was in the mud elementals area, close to that camp.

I wonder how you make them spawn.
