Congratulations go out to PaxLair for celebrating their 12th Anniversary in style in a gala event that was well supported. While it was a bit disheartening to see some of the familiar faces from times past, it was equally refreshing to see new, energetic appearances. It is definitely a good sign that the Chessy Community is still strong and doing well.
Now that the pleasantries are past, it is time to point out a few things as apparently, some folks need to be reminded of ethics.
Player run events are not times to bring an axe to grind or settle old grudges. This is truly bad form and those involved should be utterly ashamed. Most importantly, you should consider your actions before you take them for there are assuredly consequences.
While many new player run towns have popped up since the EMs have decided to bless such institutions with special recognitions without previous demonstrations of what they do for the community at large, there are still features to be added to be ratified by other player cities (ie, the gates). When stirring up undo mischief, you have put your ratification at risk.
You know who you are, and you should darned well ensure you make ammends. You know who you are, and rest assured, you will get no support from me lest you make things right to those you have wronged.
