They are to hard to get now. There is no reason to get Relic Frags in my opinion.
To miuch work for little return.

Just work around it by getting the expencive items in monster loot.
Such as ring/braclets with FC/FCR3 already on them.
Weapons with Swing speed and so on.

I got two relic fragments from 6 hours of farming turkeys (a few minutes each) at 400 Luck, two relic fragments from an hour at Swoop with 2000+ Luck. This is from unraveling bags of pure loot, though.

I have only just recently begun properly sorting through my bags of loot and enhancing items for higher return. A few pieces that are almost a relic fragment can be improved with some special material, if you succeed. You lose a few, but you're only burning enchanted essence and some material.

I find this way a slower pace than just dumping mass bags of loot and unraveling everything at once. However, it yields more relics for less hunting, which is my preferred playstyle.

One thing that has made the entire process so much easier is the Item Properties mod for Enhanced Client. You can mouseover and see all the properties and their intensity colour-coded, plus it lists item resists next to your current resists which is helpful for building suits. It also tells you the overall intensity of the item, and its unraveling worth based on your race and soulforge. If something can be enhanced to upgrade it to a relic fragment, it'll say what minimum material is needed.

As for using semi-useful loot and imbuing from there, I find that works best with jewels. For other stuff, I prefer exceptional items. I generally make my own jewels from scratch but I stockpile useful pieces of loot for one-offs.

I got about half a dozen the other day from farming swoop in a high luck suit. Granted I spent a good 3 hours or more there, and made several trips back to my house to drop off bags of loot. But it was a nice surprise to unravel the bags and see a few relics pop into my bag.

Right, now there is an absolutely MUST have mod!

For some reason, someone at Mythic decided it would be a nice idea to **** warriors off and have relics all over their imbued equipment, while bards or tamers don't need any.
Fortunately, I'm a bard tamer

Relics should be needed for high end full intensity enchantments, instead of some types of enchantments and not others.

I was thinking maybe chain the strongbox quests. If you have a crew, maybe even do the thief in the tomb of kings, his loot was really good -- not sure if it is still as good as it used to be, haven't done him in awhile.

I've posted it a few other places but I usually net 7-10 relic frags per peerless run. On top of that I also get some nice grabs for items to imbue later on. Rings with hci/dci, or weapons with all elemental damage.

I'll be honest that I'm getting a little bored with dreadhorn though.

I've ventured into SA a little bit but overall I've been very disappointed with the loot that the spawn drops. I did the Renowned Wyvrn mini-champ for 2 hours getting Faery dust for 20 lrc pieces and I didn't get any worthwhile loot (or I didn't get a chance to look at the loot).

I got seven relics in about 1 hour with the help of this mod from swoop and acid els
Every time I hear people say luck doesn't matter I can't believe it. It may not be working properly now, but its a whole lot better than not having it at all for sure.

There 70k in luna now.
Why not just sell stuff and buy them?

It will save you time

Oh the example.
Kill a turkey with friends
Get maps and frags.
Sell the maps for 150k and the frags for 50k
Do the map. Get a Cornacopia. Sell it for 150k or 200k
In 3 hours time you will have lots of the above.

Get yourself 10-20 relic frags by swapping gold collected above for relics

this sound great, of course it will be on the classic client to, there are to many things, like the turkey map that are so much better on the enhanced client ans it seem intentially NEGLECTED no the classic client, come on devs this is not on
