Release 26 - January 28th

The next release of SotA is on 26th 28th January (Q1 2016 Schedule Update | Shroud of the Avatar Forum).

This will consist of a full wipe (normally happens every 3 months); if anyone would like to try out some housing or anything like that please let me know.......i'm more than happy to either pass out or give access to housing in a number of villages across the map of Novia.

Just let me know.

BTW, some HUGE crafting updates and what I believe what will become everyone's favorite system, the Job system! Players will be able to put up offers for items. So instead of going to vendors to see what is for sale, you can go to the vendor and offer to pay X for Y. For example, crafters who don't want to go explore can offer 2000 gold for 50 iron ore or lumber.

This is part of the reason we never put in all the usual "Go kill 10 wolves" quests that most games have. Now players can put those up and let demand drive the values!

Make sure and catch the telethon or at least read about it afterwards. We'll be discussing plenty of stuff that hasn't been mentioned before and answering questions, chatting live on camera, and hanging out with the players 12 hours straight. Pretty much any time I'm not on camera, I'll be in IRC doing my own personal Ask Me Anything session.
