Reinstalling UO

Do I need to delete UO to reinstall? I am not patching and was wondering if I reinstall over my old copy will it patch or just load over the copy that I have installed.

You shouldn't have to uninstall first.

Of course, in the time it took me to respond, you could've uninstalled and reinstalled and patched like 5 times.
