Regine: You turned Sicari back on - Turn TRICK OR TREATING ON!

Unlike Sicari, which went 1-2 days past its original scheduled end date,

TRICK OR TREATING WAS TURNED OFF 1-2 DAYS EARLY!!! (4-8 hours if a GMT accident, 12 hours if meant to occur on Monday's server maintenance, 36 hours if was meant to end with the server downtime Tuesday morning, since it was supposed to end Monday, the 17th)

Trick or treating got turned off HOURS before Midnight Eastern Time, Sunday, which it was still DAYLIGHT on the west coast, when it got turned off on the west coast shards.

Please, at least give us a makeup day, since Sicari & the graveyards not only went long, but have been turned back on.

Face it, Halloween is over.

I think the Halloween events in UO should start 2 weeks before Halloween and end the day after Halloween.

Halloween event was turned back on by accident according to the uo website and will be fixed on fridays mornings downtime.

which is all well and fine, but I still want an answer as to why trick or treating was shut off about 0000 GMT (or about 8-12 hours early for the West Coast shards), and the rest of the stuff went and extra 2 days, before being turned off then accidentally turned back on for two more days.

they turn trick or treat off early.
then they turn off the event even tho many ppl didnt even get to participate due to lag issues which EA has admitted was caused by hardware issues along the route to their servers.
then all the sudden its all back on and running ...for what was it 2 days?
so i ask ppl in-game, "any idea why this is all back on again? maybe they listened to all the ppl upset about getting screwed out of the event?"
and no one has a clue. and no word from EA either. it was as if no one at EA was even paying attention!
then BOOM, its off again and so i check the herald, which has a message posted dated the previous day at like 3something pm - but i had checked the herald as well as all the other sites i know to ck about the issue at 1am that very morning and that post was NOT there!
so now they say it was a mistake that the event got turned back on?
uh ...WOW?!?!?!?

and you expect them to answer ANY questions at ALL at this point Basara?!?

actually i am. she feels the same as i over the whole thing. its the matter of almost non-existent communication between this new team and its customers. its evident everywhere i turn to look these days. there is more to running a company than just providing a product. and in the case of UO, the absolutely unforgivable lack of communication these ppl are providing us about changes and issues in the game is doing nothing short of destroying the trust and confidence we as players have in the company itself. i read post after post begging for info and 90% of the time we hear nothing at all as to what or why something has occurred. it has ran some of my old time uo friends off for good. and its downright pitiful and sad.

the 1st concern of EA should be customer service. that starts with communicating with its customer base when there are problems. it DOESNT mean throwing up a post hours, sometimes even a day or more, after something has happened in-game. i'm not sure if its some kind of timestamp mistake or timezone issue, but i see that happen constantly and anyone thats paying even the slightest attention can see it as well. this sort of thing will never sit well with me. obviously things are gonna get screwed up with a game like this. i for one would be happy as hell if when there is some kind of issue EA would just get off their butts and take 5 friggin mins to type a message to us about it ...HELLO? anyone at EA reading any of this?

if these folks dont wake up and realize how badly they are screwin up by 'leaving us hanging' CONSTANTLY, the player base will continue to drop til UO is dead. and that will be a sad day.
