So awhile ago, I inquired about this and someone said the refer a friend program would be making a return. I recall someone saying the program would be back, but now I can't find where this was said. Is there any chance the program will be making a return soon? I am asking because there are many players who gave their accounts away or sold them. Some of them that I have pestered mean to return via the trial so it would be really great to get referred by them if the referral program returns. :D

I suspect sending a friend into EA's billing system and to UOStratics/Forums for information about the game would get me blacklisted as a friend not to have. Other than the obvious Pom-Pom Wavers, all you experience and read about are problems, screw-ups, and hassles.

I'm addicted to UO in spite of all the bull & boloney that we're put through by EA. EA's likely got me for life, but why would I want to put someone I like through all the garbage we put up with?

When EA decides to become Customer Friendly, that opinion may change. Until then, recommending this game to anyone might fall into the category of sociopathic behavior.

For the record, Customer Service is the top consideration when I deal with any company. If EA had been the way it is now back in my first year of play, I would have been long gone to another game.

True that, a person's friend list would dwindle pretty quickly after getting "friends" involved in this "fiasco". Im with you on the addiction part and agree that even with all the issues I still enjoy the game alot. Some customer service training would go a very long way indeed.....

If they are creating new accounts, I'll get them navigated through the account management. That's what the referral is for, isn't it? A thank you for helping folks join and navigate the rough spots?
