Redeeding Shard Shields

Hi,
today Pub 79 met Drachenfels. A Shard shield is hanging on the inner door of the castle. Since now the courtyards are usable, I wanted to redeed the shield to place it on the wall.
But even after unlocking it, redeeding was not possible - not by double click, not via context menu, not with an axe.
Is that a bug or is there another method to redeed the shield (besides demolishing the castle, of course)?

once you've unlocked it, just pick it up

Thanks Petra, tried that as well already (was too trivial to even mention here).
Unfortunately I get only "You cannot pick this up" in that case.

Probably don't need to ask, but just in case:
Are you the owner of the castle and the shard shield?

Probably a bug though. Might try calling a GM.

After it failed on one shard in one building, where the account is owner of the shard shield and the char trying to redeed it coowner of the house (you can place those only with the deed owner account anyway, so I assume the same goes for redeeding) , I tried on the other shard, where the account owns the house with the placed deed.
You could be right, that it is a bug, that has to do with the conversion of the castle courtyards, since in both cases the shields are located on the courtyard doorsteps.
Since I have no other shard shields to try, I was hoping for own stupidity due to the well known inconsistent behavior of house add-ons rather than having to torture an GM for such minor issue.

One time I had a similar bug with a 9th anniversary sculpture - released it and could not pick it up. Turned out, that turning it with the deco tool "released" it again.
But shard shields you don't turn with the deco tool, and I tried already various heights.

I just tried my transfer shields at my house (not castle) and its not redeeding either. It might be a new bug after the new patch, I unlocked the shield with the player that placed it and then double
clicked on it and nothing happened. I just tried this like a week ago and it worked fine.

You can now redeed the transfer shields again.

I had the same problem when I couldn't redeed a virtue tapestry last night (actually the wee hours of the morning). I paged a GM who responded about ten minutes later. He explained it was a known issue and would be fixed soon. Boy, they work fast!
