( Imbued ring/brace +15 stealth,+15 hci/Dci,DI 22, Int 2 each, Royal Guard Investigator Robe, Oak leaf Cloak, and shadow dancer legs) You can get an additional 5 stealth using the cloak of shadows instead of the oak leaf cloak.

100.7 Ninja (wanting to raise)
90 Bushido
90 Tactics
90 healing
84.3 Anat

Definately freeing up points from stealth has opened up some possibilities. I was wondering if we can brainstorm some templates.

Why not use Cloak of Silence instead it gets +10 to Stealth, & there is no Durabilty so you don`t have to worry about wear & tear. Burglars Bandana may also help add to your stealth. Just wondering why 90 Bushido. I always view Bushido at either 50 for Honor or 110+ for PvM.

I mentioned the cloak of silence. I don't have it, but I do have the Oak leaf.

90 Bush is what I squeezed in there for PvP. Nerve strike and death strike.

I am still weighing my options. But I know on my current build I have no room for chiv. I am running a Red Char, no fc/fcr on ring and bracelet and I don't want to play the karma game. I wanted to make a ninja type char with healing as well as some normal melee damage.

As far as head gear. Yes I am aware of the burglars bandana as well as the mark of travesty, but most will agree using that spot for hci,dci,lmc,mr and in some cases lrc.

As far as the suit I still have to finish building

Only pieces I am lacking is Tangle and yet to craft the arms and gorget. This leaves me with

I don't think I like this template...its way to dependent on +skill items as well as not being a front line fighter...More of a "I'm with a group of 3 or so fighters."

I don't see it producing a lot of damage. Sure the nerve strike/deathstrike is a good combo. But your not going to get as many crits with only 90 bushido. The healing and anat, is that really necessary?

Its very strong, crit 1/5 hits, not dependent on +skill items at all and can produce high amounts of damage real fast. If I'm in a tight spot, smoke bomb. Heal with confidence/pots. Confidence is very nice at 120 bushido. Pots with 50 enhance pots is just like a greater heal....

ALso, if you get mana vamped...you're done for a while. Until you can regen your mana.

You said Cloak of Shadows. Which made me think you were refrencing the Shroud of Shadows which was a AoS launch item.

I actually fought a similar template char today.
I'm not a good pvper, or very experienced, but he really wasnt doing any damage to me either if i didn't run. (he was using a bokuto too)

You'll need to find a way to do more damage.

I just deleted (ok... reskilled) my bushido-ninja which was nearly identical to Freelsy's, not because it wasn't effective, but because that isn't my style.

The thing about that template is, it is one of the more difficult templates to play effectively. In addition to weapons management (you really need a disarm, a bleed/mortal strike and a nerve strike weapon at the minimum), you have to know your opponent better than the click-and-chase variants of the dexxer/ninja (i.e. ninja-archer).

Anyhow, for the people who do it right, it's deadly and very difficult to kill them. For those who do it wrong, you'll wonder why they're even in Felucca.

lefty, i run several stealth items on vexxen as well (not as many as you - toned them down because it affected my resists negatively).

90 tac is too low. you're gonna want 100 tact/anat for the damage bonuses at 100.

ninja-wise, if you are melee your death strike might be much better at 120. and there is another reason, if you run with balanced bows or 1 free hand with a melee weap you can throw poisoned ninja stars or shoot fukiya darts. i believe the way it works is ninja is taken as your 'weaponskill' for landing a shurriken, so you would want 120 ninja vs. someone else's 120 weaponskill for best chance to hit.

smoke bombs are your friend. they are on the same skill timer as hiding, so you cant hide, fail, and then try to smokebomb. it's an either/or situation. if in doubt, smokebomb to avoid getting gangbanged
