Red Natural Dye

Is it just me or do all the "red" colored natural dyes look more pink than anything else? I was so looking forward to finally having some dark red, and bright red colors...but it aint so!!! So disappointed! I dunno am I the only one that thinks so?!

Purple/magenta look decent, blues are OK, greens are OK, but red looks like shades of PINK/Brown more than anything else!

Try mixing the red with a black pigment. It comes out as a fairly dark red.
