recent idocs..

been watching idocs lately, seen a few go OSI right before they were going to fall. Sign says demo pending etc.

Whats bugging me is, the house sign says "like new" and does not change period.

anyone know a time frame they have been falling or ideas?

osi pending because of vendor rentals can stay up for 39 days if the contracts are monthly and they just renewed before the house started decaying ,, ,, basicly once the contracts be it weekly up too monthly expire the vendors sit in house sign waiting to be claimed for 9 days once the last rental vendor has sat for 9 days in sign the house will fall , so it can be anytime because its hard to say which vendors are rentals and which are house owners because house owners vendors will stay there till all rentals are gone if they have enough gold to keep them there

what if the vendors arent rentals, there all there for the owner to display suits for example? nothing on the vendors to sell, ever.

Like a lot of IDOC information, what is actually posted on guides is not entirely accurate. I still haven't really determined what is happening with these houses, yet in my experience ALL houses with vendors will go OSI, rented or not. Also, the house seems to fall very quickly, perhaps hours, after the last vendor has expired and disappeared. One thing is certain though, the decay status of OSI houses is completely irrelevant.

To make matters worse, last week an OSI house in New Mag on Siege added a new twist to the puzzle. It fell about seven days after going OSI with 17 of the 24 vendors (all of which were believed to have been operated by the owning character) still extant. They are still there now, hanging in the air like the ghosts of Czarina, the previous owner.

i seen one go OSI on ATl... then drop an hour or so later with 1 vendor.....
i seen one on GL...go OSI then drop 5 hours no vendors...
i seen one on GL house sign change to "like new" for 1 hour then "slightly" forover a day..but nothing is happening..

im lost anymore, seems random, vendors or not

Keep in mind there is more than one reason for houses to go 'Demolition pending'. A house with rented vendors where the owner account is inactive will work as expected - But a house where the owner account is banned may be totally different. I think falling is subject to removal of illicit objects in the house.

Then there's things like Czarina's house on Siege which is totally freaky and I wonder if the recent house changes have affected it.

Hmm..so what's the reason the ATL yew gate house that fell prior to revert fell? Then after it didn't..hrm maybe the owner was contacted..cool

some houses are cycling through the whole decay process, 2 and 3 times then fall...

i havent seen one of any kind fall on the normal timer, the first time, in quite some time.
