Real Items or CC

I'm just wondering how you can tell if the item is real or if it might be CC. Couldn't someone take a statue for instance and make it look like a refridgerator? Then when you bought it you would know that it wasn't a fridge?

Just wondering if this is possible.

The only interaction you can do on a CC object is "Content Viewer". On CC chairs you get "Sit" and "Content Viewer".

If you pick it up or point at it in Buy mode, it shows 100% wear.
A catalog item never decays past 80% wear.
