Why not just have a command to add the new artifacts into our bank box, like resources, etc.? That will let us test them all.

Copy char to TC with all your Marties. If you have 7 chars per account you will have 7 times the amount of marties.
Keep in mind, if you character copy now, it shares a cool-down of 24 hours before you can char-x-fer or char-copy again. it would be much easier for them to allow you to just create a character and start with a set # of turn-in points like the OP suggests. They did it for the clean-up points, why not for the new turn-ins?
I understand about the 24 hour cool down but it is easy for players to just do this and not bother what few devs we have left on something that we are able to do ourselves.
Right.... I get that, but regardless the devs have given us points for all turn-in based systems thus far, and should (when implementing new ones) continue to do so.
After significant testing has been done of course. The invasions are live, there seems to be a few tolerable bugs with it, but for the most part it's fine.
They gave us those points from the start, they did not add them in after it went live. Now you want them to rewrite the code for this on TC and risk the chance that it WILL not have any bugs that may hit the prodo shard. And you really trust the QA dept. we have, now that is funny. Sorry we do not need an "EASY BUTTON" at the potential problem to the prodo shards when Char. Copy is there.

There are risks of adding unwanted bugs regardless of what they add to prodo shards.... but I'm pretty sure the dev team is skilled enough to make something TC only...

Let me say this so you can understand. They gave us points on the other turn-in systems from the start and you even said so in post #5 and #7. They did not give us points for this event. Clear so far? Use Char Copy and quit whining about an "Easy Botton". How hard is that to understand?
What's hard to understand is he isn't talking about the same thing you are.
Plus, what is the point of having to use a system on a live server just to test it on the test server? To me it make more sense to allow us to just test it on the server we can break and can be wiped instead of a server that is not able to be changed. Therefore, we should have the ability play with all the objects with no effort on test server. For all we know some of those items are just flavor text and don't effect stats. We would never know until we spent 100 artifacts on them. Then what? Too bad so sad?
erm, all the blackthorn items are alts of existing items. They behave exactly as the original items they are based on. If they don't, report it in the bug forum and it will get fixed.
