Aedon was glad that he had brought the subject up to James. He had always been able to find a more than willing accomplice to a bit of chicanery in this pooka. James seemed to look at life as a mere excuse to get from one silly prank to another. And through him Aedon was able to let loose, and become a prankster as well.
He had sat up all night working on the posters, and though he was not much of an artist, managed to scrawl down an image that suited the joke.
Handing one stack to James, he suggested that they tack up the posters not only throughout Yew, but also in Skara and most any town with a board or spare tree. This way, we can get the message out to the larger audience, and at the same time increase the ha- ha potential.
Taking the stack from Aedon, James hopped off to the moongate and vanished. Singing a merry song, Aedon walked the woods of Yew towards the Abbey, tacking up posters as he went. He was sure that the message would not only be well received, but also give folks a chance to share a laugh.
