[Auction] Rares Museum: Part One

This is the first part of my collection I will be auctioning here on the Rares Forum.
Over the next few weeks, I will list different groups to be auctioned in 1 week increments.
This bidding will start when the post is made and last til the designated time.


This auction will end on Feb. 4th (Friday), at 8pm Eastern US Time.
Any bids made in the last 5 minutes will extend the bidding another 10 minutes.
We will use the Stratics post-time as the standard rule.
All items are on Catskills, and it is the buyer’s responsibility for pickup.
I will accept gold ONLY on Catskills or Atlantic.
If there is a concern on payment arrangements, please message me before hand about your issue.
I reserve the right to pull an item if the final bid is not satisfactory. NONE of these items will be pulled otherwise.
There are no buyout prices.
Please post all bids here in this thread. I will not accept bids thru ICQ/PM.

For now, the bid will remain private. I am using the highest bid I received privately as the starting bid. I started the item at 2 billion and received 8 bids from 5 well known collectors that reached 3.2 before I started the public thread. If no one bids, the private high bid will win and everyone will know who won it when he displays it in his museum.

I've had as many as 35 active messages on ICQ at one time about this thread. I feel very confident that this particular item will receive more bids and everything from here out will be public.

Well, I do say that the bidders are known and trustworthy. Also, why on earth would I accept a bid from someone that wasn't?

One person Q'd me and basically demanded that I make public the pre-auction bidders names. I only have one thing to say:

I have made it my utmost priority for the better part of 4 years, since I started collecting UO rares, to be 100% honest. I value my integrity over any single pixel that I have ever owned. Anyone that has dealt with me knows this.

If the way I've set this up doesn't suit you, so be it. Don't bid. Fine by me.

I do not mean this to be rude. But I don't feel like I have any thing else to prove to anyone in the collecting world of UO. I have a proven track record and if you don't trust me, or haven't dealt with me before, PLEASE PM or ICQ this forum's moderator, Athelas, or Manticore, Diablo, Nabin, Lineman, Gunga, Peil, or any of the DOZENS of other collectors that I have traded with for years.

Once the very next bid on the Void Rock is made, all of this will be irrelevant..
