Greeting Happy Adventurers !!

First of all RAA crew, vendor runners and myself felt deeply touched by all the marks of linking many of you have showed us. Moving the well known shop to a new location was a tough decision tbh !!

But it's there now !!! Even if it still smells paintings and deco still needs some adjustments we are running it again since a short month now.

We managed to keep the library that many of you is using on a daily basis.
We also have a dye service behind the books that we found handy to use as well.

Day after day we are increasing our offer of goods. Even if we wont reach the number of previous vendors in former shop we are slowly (but surely) moving up in number.

Finally i m proud to thank the nearly 2.000 visitors we have seen over that month... (the true 2000th visitor will receive a small gift in coming days).

Thanks again for all your support and no worry , RAA is still here and for long !!

Thank you Lien for saving the shop after I resigned after 5-6 years of shop managing.

And now im going to hi-jack your thread and tell what I am up to

For a year or so i tried to run 16-19 vendors at RAA and be the only active HLP worker in Haven. It didnt work. So I gave up most of my HLP work and placed Mineva back in RAA. I felt every day that I let the new and returning players down...

So im going to assist new and returning players in the name of RAA this time.
I have a house next to Trinsic gate, to the south. Im rebuilding the place and the bottom floor will have lots of books with information about UO and Europa. Very basic and hopefully understandable for not so well English speaking players as well.
There will also be training dummies (if new players have access to them now) crystal portals, dye tubs and some vendors for cheap equipment .
HLP quality armour sets will be free for new players and im in Help Channel as much as I can .

This doesnt mean im hogging the youngs, I know there are many helpful people on Europa that do great difference for new and returning players! Keep up the good job, but if you dont have time, just direct them to Trinsic.

It would be awesome to get some recruitment books from guilds; RP or taking young or returning players.
And if someone knows about info books or essayes or are willing to write something, it would help too. I dont make instruction books , like do this first then this then this..its more thoughts and experiences from vet players..up to date.. And not tricks and shortcuts!

I would love to have something written by T-Hunter about ..T-hunting.. or a devoted tamer telling about how to start, and a small guide what to look for when it comes to pets. Or anything you feel could inspire a new player.

I hope to start up in August the sooner the better. Feel free to visite my place in a week or so and tell me what you think, right now it isnt much there, I recostumiced 2 days ago. But you are most welcome to have a look and tell your opinion!

I think i speak for everyone on Europa when i say thankyou for keeping RAA alive and running guys. RAA is more than a shop and a library, hell i'd probably say its used as often as Luna Bank! Europa needs a RAA.. i seriously dunno what we'd do without it! So once more, thanks guys.

Thank you Lord Omega for the kind words and offer to help. Im not a good tamer myself, so its really aprecheated.
Most of us had a first character with way too many and mismatching skils. My Mim was no exeption. Mage, miner and just in case, a macer! The real new ones, and yes they are not that uncommon, needs a simple guide with the basics, skills, how to train them and use them. And some words of inspiration and encouraging. Like why become a tamer when training is so slow. Nothing long or deep for them, they are too eager to get started to read long essays.

But if I get some books that are more complete , I sure will add thoose too. In that case I bet they will come back and read when its time to make the next character. Also what to look for when its time to get their pets. Type of pets and what to look for to know if a pet is worth to keep etc. The books I have made or collected so far are very different but easy to read and no figures and lists that to do at certain levels ..but more general stuff that hopefully stay true for a long time!

Ill start to place some books this weekend if you want to see ..its really simple stuff.

plz let me mention the open to public museum ....in the castle kinda infront of Raa new shop.....all are welcome....go shop till ya drop then come see the small museum display on show .

There is one single item left in the old shop. Its a rune on the floor for the new shop!

Also if you are sightseeing, the house teleporter at RAA leads to the New Player House at Trinsic gate. Have a look and tell me if I missed something. Its not a shop really. I just sell some basic stuff for new players that pops in while im not there and can give them free stuff.
