Why not something else like a decent cloak so everyone doesn't feel the need to wear a silly quiver on non archer chars.

A new quiver would be nice, Id love to see a reag quiver for mages though. Having a easily refillable reag pouch would make non lrc suits more popular.
Id like to see a new archer quiver with higher lower ammo cost hehe. If you arent good at finding neglected npc arrow/bolt sellers then ammo gets expensive.

Maybe they could add a mod for a new quiver, Replenish Stock basically like a eater mod but instead of eating dmg and giving health it would eat some dmg and give ya ammo. Would be cool if you run out of ammo near the end of a fight and you can tank some damage for more ammo.

I really don't care either way, but it seems that there are half-a-dozen already in game with different mods on them. Dye one of those to your liking and move on. What exactly are you looking for? I read it as not wanting a new quiver so much as different mods... so what would those be?

*edit* I just counted and there are 9 different quivers in game currently. 5 crafted, 3 minor artifacts and one from the heritage tokens.

I would like to see a belt.....

With a scabbard for Dexers.... that holds maybe 3 weapons... lowering weight... and can be blessed

with a reagent bag for Mages/mystics/necros that has a weight reduction... and can be blessed

So others can have the benefit of blessing.... like the archers.

I'd like to see new boots and sleeves too.

I would like to see a new cloak or back slotted piece that is not a quiver, for non archer chars. I'm used to it now, but why should my mage wear a thing full of arrows?

I thought I had read shortly after quivers were introduced that one of the Dev's had posted about it being a mistake to introduce them into the game. Can't remember if it was because arrows and bolts could now be secured via an insurable or blessed item or that the quivers had mods.

Why not just make imbuing better and allow something to be imbued to a level like the 5% DCI quiver?

There are so many possibilities with imbuing, but many more limitations.

Well if everything is imbuable and easy to obtain, there becomes less to play for in an item based game, right? It's a whole 'nother issue.

New quiver...for Archerers?

PAH-LEEEZZZE!

Every template in the game needs more love than the Archer. Just give these boards a cursory view.

That written, I have Old School archers on all 5 shards I frequent.

Had em long before they became the OP toons they currently are.

Will have em long after Forensic Evaluation templates become the Power-of-the-month.

I vote for implimenting the Arms verse Armaments verse Arms theory I have posted on other threads long before archers receive anything except a new shaft.

My vote Scabards ( to replace Apron I mean, how can I be taken seriously as a fighter by wearing an apron? All the other fighters tell me to "make 'em a sammich" and then I cry a little...) and reg pouches for mages, I guess? I mean they already have LRC... why not?

Short answer? No on quivers, yes on giving everyone ELSE something to for their "Class" bonus.

Hey, there still are regent using spellcasters! Typically we're the type that a so over-hybreeded that there's no way we'd waste 5 whole item properties of LRC.

Purely for RP, I'd like one without any modifiers, just for holding arrows. And ideally with a graphic that changes if it's full or empty.....

yep I have one of those ! also people seem to think that its all or nothing with lrc!
you can have 50 lrc and it makes a big difference on reg usage and keeps mod spots open!

But you still have to carry regs... see the problem? If you're going to put LRC, you might as well commit and not carry regs at all, You can have partial... but you still end up having to carry them, negating the major reason on having them on your suit. Unless you wanna fail a % of the time ...

not sure about new quivers, but wouldnt mind seeing them upgrade arcane clothing. Say like 500 or 1000 charges, could be a rare recipe drop. might need like crystalized blackrock(or normal) to make, and then like 20 arcane gems and a fairy dust to recharge

also if they add something, they would need to add a garg variant say somthin like a nice looking bandolier

If I had a blessed reagent bag or backpack, like the Quiver of Infinity is for arrows, I'd forgo 100% LRC on a few mages. Reagents for spell casting used to be one of the few working gold sinks in the game, before LRC.

You guys have no idea how much I want scabbards in this game... No idea.

Give melee weapon oriented bonuses... (within reason...) make quivers only work for archers and give everyone else a lil' something something.

Maybe scabbards (depending on waist or back) gives STR or Dex bonus, some hps, maybe some di and SSI

Reg packs are insured reg packs, gives some SDI, LMC, Mr, FCR, FC

Sure "OMG KONGE QUIVERS SUX NAIO!?"

Quivers still increase the damage actually dealt to the person, I mean, maybe buff some quivers a bit or make new ones that only work for arrows/bolts so if someone doesn't wanna loose there 5dci they can keep it.

We'll call the new expansion Accessories and revamped battle systems dreamed up by some guy who's named is always referenced to a giant monkey who kidnaps beautiful women and swats helo's.

Or we can call it... Stuffs... Yeah... that'll sell all right!
