Alright so i joined a guild (i am practically new to UO after being away for a loooonnngggg time) and i see my guildies chatting and well...i dont know how to chat back. lol

I know that for party chatting i can "/ "response"" it and i would be ok but for guild chatting when not in a Party?

Use the "\" to guild chat.

use the " \ " key above your enter key

 

[AzSel]

press \ for guild and | for alliance

 

[Gheed]

\ (guild)
shift + \ (alliance)

If your in the Enhanced Client, I do believe you can do

s Say Anything
g Guild Speak anything
a Aliance speak anything
p Party Speak anything

The above may need to start with the / character.
