Questions about Harrower and Terra Sanctum defense

hi to everybody
i was wondering if any guild ever blocked the way through terra sanctum sea with boats to prevent getting killed on a raid situation
its like, i mean if anyone ever put like a ton of boats on the sea and kill the champ while other guys try to bypass the boat wall, but with no success since terra sanctum may only be accessed through the sea
if this ever happened, what gms would do?

second question,
ive never been on a strong group to try a harrower on a big shard. but i was thinking about what would be allowed or not on a harry defense
i mean what can be used to defend the dungeon where harry is being killed, like putting bag balls, fields, summons.
is it allowed to block all the way through the dungeon entrance with bagballs to prevent the raid guild to make its invasion? or is a must to leave at least some tiles for the invasors to move when they are inside?

You can try to block the entrance of the harbor with boats. Though GM's will remove the boats pretty quickly. There isnt really a good place to defend the island from. Just too wide open.

As far as Harries go. Every dungeon has a good "Choke" to set the harry up at. You can use bagballs or whatever to partially block the entry, but you must be able to get in and out, even if it is only one tile wide.

With the human JOAT you can place bag balls, bring shovles or picks and mine up oar. Stuff the bagballs with the oar so they are heavy and hard to handle. This tactic, while cheezy, can stop a group of raiders long enough to field them in and kill the group.

TECHNICALLY i believe it was said, bagballs and candelabras and such are allowed in a faction base, but i don't know how allowed they are in a dungeon.

But like has been said, in any dungeon there is a good choke point to field and hold, so not really neccesary.

As for terra sanctum, its basically an open field fight when its about the champ, if u are fighting all over the place without trying to control the champ, there are a few locations that are solid for holding a defense, and even escaping if need be. I do enjoy though, when the battle there takes to the water when someone flees, and it turns into a pirate battle =/ It sucks, i like fighting there alot, but the going over water thing makes the fights there few and far between.

It seems like it would be illegal, but even if it's not it's still a pancake move. Same with the bagballs and similar "tactics."

Faction bases can be completly blocked by items as long as the items are placed within the base (ie behind the sign-up stone). Everywhere else you must leave a path so that people can pass. You can make the path as funky as you feel as long as people can get from A to B. Problem is that there a quite a few people that can just run thru the items you place and so it ends up working against you. I've seen people try blocking the island with boats and the GM will either move the boats or just delete them.
