Questions about Catskills Shard

Hi everyone,

I am a soon to be new player to UO and since i have not yet decided on with Shard to play i wanted to know the impressions of the player that play on this Shard about the fellowing subjects.

1. Play style preference (PvE/PvM or PvP or RP) ?

2. If it is PvP, does it seem to be organised PvP (guild vs guild/Duel/Faction "war") or does it seem to be Pker attacking anyone in sight just because they feel like it?

3. Does it seem there are many thief ?

4. Server population ?

5. Is it hard to find a spot to build a house ?

1. Well mixed, there are many people that enjoy each play style. You'll find it easy to find a guild for your tastes.

2. Catskills has RP guilds that are 'at war', if you prefer that style of PVP, but we also have a strong faction player base. Mostly, this server is based on factions. Not for the sigils, really, more for the items to compete in PVP.

3. There are several thieves, but not many that I know of who play their thief as a main character, so you won't see them often.

4. Catskills isn't the size of Atlantic, but it is fairly large. This provides less lag but still a good amount of players.

5. It isn't hard at all to find a house plot, there are many large plots around.

Thank everyone for all the anwsers. After reading all of the anwsers i got in the different shards section of the forum i decided to go for the Legends shard.
